Neurospicy — A live podcast on accessibility in the arts

  • The Round - Studio 379-399 Whitehorse Road Nunawading, VIC, 3131 Australia (map)

Returning for its second year, Neurospicy is a live podcast focused on neurodivergent experiences, hosted by musician and advocate Dan Kerr (creator of Late to the Party podcast). Nat will join Dan and Arts Access Victoria Creative Producer and Advocate Arty Owens to discuss various topics, including:

  • How can venues and performance spaces become genuinely welcoming for neurodivergent people?

  • What barriers exist? and how do we dismantle them?

  • How do artists create work that celebrates cognitive diversity?

  • What does accessibility look like from the audience's perspective?

After the podcast, a market will be held in the foyer featuring neuro-affirming businesses and organisations. Nat will also host a neurodivergent artist meet up there, from 8.15pm.
